How it works

Step 1

Bring your games

Connect Lichess or Chess.com, or paste a PGN. Your games land in one place.

Step 2

Your coach reviews every move

Powered by a real engine, your coach grades each move and finds the moments that decided the game.

Step 3

Understand it, then fix it

Plain-language explanations of your key moments, the better plan, and what it means for your next game. Tuned to your level, not a grandmaster's.

Meet your coach

Not a score. Not a centipawn. A clear explanation of what happened in your game, and what to do about it.

CoachMove 18, middlegame

Your knight on d5 was doing two jobs: blocking the e-file and covering c7. Trading it with 18.Nxe7 gave both up at once, and the rook invaded two moves later. When one piece holds your position together, think twice before trading it.

CoachMove 31, rook endgame

Down a pawn here, the real mistake was trading rooks. The pawn endgame is lost, but with rooks on the board your active king gives real drawing chances. Keep the pieces that keep you in the game.

CoachGame summary

You came out of the opening better in all three games this week, then drifted around move 20 when there was no obvious plan. Next time, pick a target before you push pawns. That's what we'll work on.

Not just numbers. Lessons.

Engines tell you what was wrong. Your coach tells you why, and what to do about it.

Every move graded

From brilliant to blunder, every move gets a grade and the better move when you slip.

Find the turning points

The win-probability graph takes you straight to the moments that decided the game.

Tuned to your level

A 1200 and a 1900 don't need the same lesson. What counts as a mistake, and how it's explained, adapts to you.
